Our Building Process

It is important to us that you are fully aware and more importantly, comfortable with the entire building process. Below if a brief outline of a typical build.

P0rior to Building

  • Meet with our team to discuss your needs and requirements
  • If you already have land, our team will check the lot and floor plan orientation to ensure house will fit 
  • Discuss your budget and requirements                                                       
  • Establish and agree on a concept plan (we will change and modify plans until you are happy                                                  
  • Discuss any non-builder items such as pool or spas etc. to ensure it fits on block                  
  • Once you are happy with the plans and the price, sign a Preliminary agreement               
  • We arrange for a soil test and wind rating                                                                             
  • Arrange preliminary drawings
  • Once plans arrive, we run through with you to ensure it is exactly what you want
  • Run through standard inclusions 
  • Meet with designated suppliers
  • Request contract once client and builder have agreed on price and plans are accepted.
  • Sign contract and begin build.

Build Commencement to Lock Up Stage

• Builder to identify site.
• Cut, fill and prepare land
• Plumbers prepare for slab pour
• Builder to check work
• Pouring of slab
• External walls either block or timber frame is erected
• Builder to meet with client if desired
• Trusses, roofing, fascia and gutters
• Internal wall frames
• Plumbers and electricians begin rough inns
• Cladding or renderers complete external walls
• Install internal walls
• Windows installed
• Installing front, rear and garage doors
• Lock up stage complete
• Builder to meet with client if desired

Lock Up to Completion     

• Tiling commences
• Builder and tiler to meet with client if desired
• Kitchen and bathroom measure/fit out
• Architraves and skirting boards
• Painting internal and external
• Plumber and Electrical fit out
• Shower screens, security screens
• Cleaning of home
• Practical completion meeting with builder to walk through the completed home.
